If you’re looking for skiing near Valencia, check out Javalambre and Valdelinares, in the Teruel region. Whether you want a week on the slopes or just a few days away, these ski resorts are close enough for Valencia residents to enjoy a mini vacation with minimal travel time.

However, if you opt for a slightly longer stay, we recommend setting aside a day or two to explore the region. Teruel is known as the “city of Mudéjar” thanks to its Moorish architecture. Some representative buildings in the region have even been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Worth a little exploration if you are already in the region!

Ski resort Javalambre

The beautiful Javalambre Ski Resort, located at an altitude of 1650 to 2000 meters, offers 15 kilometers of ski runs with 7 elevators and is a great option for skiing near Valencia. This includes one kilometer of red runs and 14 kilometers of blue runs. You can also rest assured that the slopes are excellently maintained throughout the season.

In high season, a day pass costs around 39 euros for adults and 31 euros for children, although it can be less depending on the days you book.

This ski resort is also great for beginner skiers, as they offer the option to learn to ski for free with every ski pass purchase.
